help....Iron Shaft flex

Hello all,

I am a newbie when it comes to this stuff, I have only been golfing for a few months. A few weeks ago my 8 iron broke and I was looking for a new shaft. I could not find the shaft flex on any website that sold the set of clubs I bought and I need some help.

My clubs are Top Flite XL (Right Hand). Whats in your bag

So I just wanted to share something that I carry with me in my golf equipment bag. I bought some tees from www.golfteesetc.com and they are called stepdown tees. They give me almost a perfect shot everytime and I dont have to keep guessing how deep to put the tee. I'm new to golf and this really helps me out. Share where you got your equipment from and what you carry in your bag that is special or helpful ;)

Driver Loft vs. Distance

I have a 12 degree King Cobra M Speed regular shaft driver with the face closed 3 degrees that I hit between 200-230 yards with lots of height on the drive. Lots of height. I have no trouble getting the ball in the air.

Would shifting to a 10 degree loft (with all the same parameters as shown above) give me more distance or just a lower flying drive?

Cheaper alternative to the Pro V1

I am looking for a cheaper alternative to the Titleist Pro V1 golf ball. I have played them and really like them, but they are costing me too much since I seem to go through a half dozen or so a round. Is there anything out there that is similar but less expensive?

New Square Drivers?

Has anyone tried the new squared drivers like the Nike Sumo or the Callaway FT -i? Supposedly they help you hit the ball straighter, is there any truth to that?
